I've taken the liberty on Untrusted Too. Be gentle with me...
ReplyDeleteI went to the Nou Camp once, magnificent. Prefer the new Wembley tho, thats a nice stadium.
ReplyDeleteWomen on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown is one of my favourite films. Felíz cumpleaños, Pedro!
ReplyDeleteI love Henson's "The Storyteller". And the muppets, of course, source for some of my most vivid childhood-nightmares.
ReplyDeleteWe have the Storyteller on old tapes - magical stuff, French and Saunders are fab Bad Sisters.
ReplyDeleteThe Simpsons once had the family watching an old Muppet Show with Troy McClure fighting a duel with Kermit for the hand of Miss Piggy. Bart and Lisa were not impressed.
I only remember Troy McClure wooing Selma (or was it Patty) with the same lines he used on medieval Miss Piggy. Great stuff, those shows!
ReplyDeleteFrench and Saunders were the Bad Sisters? Cool, didn't realize it.

ReplyDeleteHave you checked your trouser pockets, deano?
Just popped in briefly to give a nod to martillo's top piece over on U2. But now I'm going to be worrying all night about you and your glasses (-;
